Hello to our residents and family members. You are receiving this call to update you on the CMS mandate released Friday afternoon, 11.12.21. This mandate sets forth the new Visitation guidelines for LTC. Residents can now have in-room visitation. However, the mandate expects the core principles of infection control be followed. This means: ü  Visitors continue to be screened for COVI 19 upon entering the facility ü  A visitor that has tested + for COVID 19 in the previous 14 days, has symptoms of COVID 19 or are currently in quarantine are NOT permitted in the facility. ü  Hand hygiene is performed upon entry to the facility and after the visit. Hand sanitizer is preferred for hygiene. ü  A surgical mask or full face shield is required. Cloth masks are NOT permitted. ü  When in the facility your visit is limited to your loved one. ü  Refrain from walking in hallways or visiting other residents. ü  Social distancing MUST be maintained between other residents and staff.
